Background
Dr Jodie Ross was awarded her MBBS from The University of Queensland in 2009. Prior to completing medicine, Jodie worked as a pharmacist for several years.
In her junior years as a doctor, Jodie worked at Ipswich Hospital. She enjoyed a wide variety of medical subspecialties and delighted in forming strong therapeutic relationships with patients. The obvious specialty for her was thus family medicine and she embarked on her specialty training through AGPT. She was awarded her GP fellowship in 2017.
Jodie enjoys working with all patients in general practice. She loves supporting new mums (and dads!) as they navigate the new job of parenting. Jodie is committed to helping patients optimise their bio-psycho-social health and well-being, and assisting them coordinate their chronic disease management.
