Background
Dr Rebecca Kerr graduated from her medical degree at the university of Queensland in 2004. She did a variety of hospital rotations getting experience in a number of specialties including Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. After this she went on to do general practice training and got her FRACGP in March 2009.
Rebecca enjoys the continuity of care and holistic nature of general practice and getting to know her patients. Having a young family she enjoys helping other parents with young kids as they navigate some of the difficulties this stage of life can bring. She also enjoys doing rural relieving a few weeks a year for the variety of practice working in those different communities. Rebecca has completed the antenatal alignment program with Mater Hospital and is able to do shared care for pregnant women.
