Dr Sophie Henalla

Background

Dr Sophie Henalla is originally from the UK, and completed her studies at Bond University in 2015. She is currently completing her general practice training at Brookwater, but before this had spent three years gaining experience in a range of specialities including general medicine, oncology, palliative care, gynaecology, and emergency medicine.

She has completed a Certificate of Women's Health, is trained in Implanon insertions, and is working towards completion of the Diploma of Child Health from the University of Sydney. She is currently going through The Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program to gain specialist recognition as a General Practitioner. After completing this pathway, she will gain Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Sophie is passionate about providing holistic care across all areas of family medicine, and has special interests in women's health, pregnancy care, and preventative medicine.
