Zero Tolerance Policy
All our staff are trained and dedicated to serve you and you will be treated with courtesy and respect at all times. In return, we ask that you and anyone that you bring with you to the Practice treat our administrative and clinical staff with the same courtesy and respect.
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE approach to any verbal, aggressive and violent abuse and behaviour towards our staff or other patients. We respectfully advise you that abuse and/or violence will not be tolerated.
Patients are expected to disclose any potentially communicable or viral illnesses that could place staff or other patients at risk. Failure to do so may result in the appointment being postponed or managed via alternative arrangements. Protecting the health and well being of our staff and patients is fundamental to the safe operation of the practice
If a patient or anyone a patient brings with them to the Practice, is abusive, aggressive or violent towards our staff and/or other patients the police will be called and will result in you being removed from our Practice list.
It is a policy of Brookwater General Practice that we require payment for appointments at the time of the appointment. Unfortunately, we will be in contact via registered post letter to inform you of a freeze on your ability to book appointments at the practice until all outstanding invoices are paid. At this point, there would have been multiple attempts to rectify this on our behalf unsuccessfully.
We also know that some of our patients might be experiencing financial difficulties. If this is the case, please discuss this with the practice manager.
