Dr Marlina Ab Rahman

Background

Dr Marlina obtained her medical degree from The University of Melbourne and has worked in metro and rural hospitals in Victoria before moving to Queensland for her General Practice training. She worked as a GP in Bundaberg for 3 years before moving to Brisbane.

Dr Marlina obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2017. She also holds a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) awarded by The University of Sydney, Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and Certificate in Skin Cancer Surgery. She is currently undertaking a Professional Certificate in Dermatology.

She enjoys all aspects of General Practice with special interests in skin checks, skin cancer surgery, dermatology, women’s health, child health and mental health. She also does minor surgical procedures and Implanon insertions.

In her spare time, Marlina enjoys swimming and spending time outdoors with her husband and 4 children.
